President Obama sent a clear message on Wednesday to those Latinos who feel unhappy about the lack of progress on their issues: Vote more.

During a first-of-its-kind online round table discussion aimed at Latinos, Obama said that the Latino population has been punching below its weight at the voting booth, meaning that its political power doesn’t match up with its rapidly growing population and status as the United States’ biggest minority group.

“With numbers, comes power,” Obama said. “We still have not seen the kinds of participation” that translates into “political power.”
